First Announcement and Call for Papers for the Second HERITY International Conference.
The conference will take place in Rome on 3-5 December 2008 on the theme ‘Measuring the Value of Material Cultural Heritage’. The first conference in 2006 focused on Quality in Cultural Heritage Management. The Second Conference aims to:
- To make possible to exchange ideas and experiences at an international level on the aims, possibility to measure, and the ways to describe the concept of Value related to material Cultural Heritage open to the public (Monuments, Museums, Archaeological sites, Libraries and Archives) from different points of view;
- To present in detail the HERITY approach to the criterion Value when performing the quality evaluation.
HERITY is an international cultural organisation concerned with the management of quality of cultural heritage.
