Lake District World Heritage Project – Exchange in Italy

An exciting professional development opportunity funded by the EU Leonardo Da Vinci programme has just been announced for a fully funded professional study visit to Lake Garda and Val d’Orcia, Italy, 19 – 24 September 2008.

21st Century Era Ltd has secured funding from the EU Leonardo Da Vinci Programme and in collaboration with the Lake District World Heritage Project has created a partnership with La Sapienza Università di Roma, and the Cambridge Centre for Landscape and People. The partnership is designing a five day professional exchange project to visiting heritage and regeneration projects in both Lake Garda and the World Heritage Site of Val D’Orcia in Italy.

All travel costs from point of departure (Manchester airport) are covered and there is a daily allowance for accommodation and subsistence.

There are just 12 places available and you need to express an interest as soon as possible and no later than the 23 July.

Selection is competitive and there is no guarantee of a place.
